i think you have mis-understood my post.
Short selling is legal but only when it's is in a company that is legal to do so.
NXM is not on the ASX allowable short list, so any short selling in the stock is not going to be willingly disclosed to the regulator, is it.
I still believe it's 2 of the top 20 companies selling down, shorting was just another option for the planned sales, after seeing the parcel size, the timing of sales and what looked like a concerted drive to lower the share price..
