My theories on cap raises got thrown out the window when Chalice went for $25 million at $1.05 last May when they had $25 million in cash and shares in the kitty. Lesson? These blokes know that the times can turn sour pretty quick so it can pay to top up when the going is good and you have people knocking at the door to give you money ( the same blokes that have been most likely buying the shares the have pushed up the value of the company).
