I don't understand how one can critique the current DD results as disappointing, from any perspective other that hyped expectation.
Andy stepped back and fired deep, intersecting in the area their modelling suggested. The intention being to build the understanding of the shape and geology at depth, for refined modelling and the planning of future exploration.
Would it have been nice to drill through 15m of solid gold at depth of 600m in the very early stages of exploration? Yes.
But I certainly didn't back Andy and Nexus in the early days with that vision or expectation.
We've just again witnessed the fallout from those clearly gambling on spectacular cores losing their nerve, likely exiting at losses.
The reality here is the picture of this monster system just continues to reveal itself.
Plenty of drilling ahead, assays to come. This is exploration. Keep expectation modest and enjoy the surprises
