    POG has risen today to about $US1,837 or an increase of 0.52% even though the US dollar index spiked up just over 1% providing an increase in POG to $A2,738 an increase of $A57 or 2.15%.

    First time for a while that I have seen POG go up with US dollar index rising - usually POG falls if US dollar index rises.
