The MRE is only going to address the very southern end of the leases held. And, quite possibly, only parts of the southern end. Strikes in the Eastern Goldfields (of WA) largely run north/south, so cutting off the bottom few hundred metres and doing a deal on that is feasible. Then continue the exploration of the much larger chunk to the north appeals, at least to some of us.
Plus the gold price is edging up, down a tad today, and that with $US v $A is still making things a bit more profitable.
