I appreciate your story about the inevitability around change with schedules. I also acknowledge a delay of a couple weeks, is not major in the scheme of years of good work, and thank Andy and the team at Nexus.
Good leaders will also tell you people do not like surprises at the last minute, when the leader has known about it for some time. It's fair to assume this is the case here.
Simply put, communications should have been managed better to avoid the late surprise with the change to this schedule.
