No personal experience, my dad's mate used to work in the labs though, from who he keeps in touch with and what he has told us they are working 7 days a week at present due to the modern day gold rush. Work rosters are being arranged to accommodate this with staff working different set shifts/being offered weekend work/overtime. Hence, why there are often large assay result releases on Monday's, it's possible to get them late Friday/over the weekend.
