The option to acquire up to 51% still remains and will more rely on successful phase 2 results rather than option conversion.
From what we have seen phase 2 should be going well and good news should push the shareprice up quite a lot, likely above 10 cents. Then they can raise funds to acquire up to 51% at 10 cents (for example) and basically issue 30m less shares (if the options expire worthless). That would also get a broker onboard to push the price.
February is only 1.5 months away so news should be forthcoming but maybe not before options expire.
