russellj - thanks to you as well for the great questions and sharing the answers - really appreciate your post.

company seems to be just "blocking with a stright bat" to these questions.

One view of this is they can't say more as any info is market sensitive would require ASX disclosure

The other view is, they have nothing more to say cause they have no answers - full stop (ie sitting on their backside and not actually progressing the company).

Not sure I can discern from either sets of answers any more info as to which view is the better one.

For me, I think I need to let my NXS sit in the bottom draw for a a year or so, and hope I dont have to put my hand in my pocket for it again.

Near term, I am looking at other developments at present especially in the U sector.
