NXT secures new brisbane site

NEXTDC Secures Brisbane (B2) Site
NEXTDC Limited (ASX: NXT) (“NEXTDC” or “the Company”) is pleased to advise that it has
executed an agreement to acquire a site for the construction of its second data centre
facility in Brisbane (“B2”). The site is strategically located in Fortitude Valley on the CBD fringe and is close to a major electricity substation as well as significant telecommunications and public transport infrastructure.

As previously advised, NEXTDC expects practical completion of B2 towards the end of 2H17,
supporting an initial capacity of 1.5 MW at opening, with a target total capacity of approximately 6M
W.
The initial investment in B2 represents approximately $75m that includes the land, base building
and associated infrastructure to support the initial
1.5MW of IT load. The Company will provide further updates on the status of the
acquisition of the second Melbournefacility (M2) as well as development updates for
B2 in due course.
