Sydney - Monday - August 15: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Nylex Ltd (ASX code: NLX) reports its strategic alliance with UXC Ltd
(ASX code: UXC) division Fieldforce Services Pty Ltd has already secured
contracts with Gold Coast Water, Hunter Water and Actew/AGL.
The latest project to be developed by Fieldforce and Nylex is a
$20 million contract for the Sydney Water Corporation Residential Water
Efficiency Retro-fit Program to provide water conservation services to
up to 230,000 households across the city over the next two years, with a
further one-year option.
Whilst Nylex products would account for about $1.5 million of
this contract, directors say it provides considerable exposure for
Nylex's broader range of products for future opportunities.
The contract involves Fieldforce conducting water audits and
installing Nylex's extensive range of water saving devices in up to 400
Sydney households each day.
The Sydney Water program allows annual savings of up to $100 on
the water and energy bills of the average household.
Full-year results of Nylex will be announced in September and
operating earnings will be in the range previously advised to the ASX.
Shares in Nylex today rose 0.5c to 25.5c while UXC fell 0.5c to
88c.
