ajv101 - yes you can short pre a consolidation if you can find someone to lend you the stock. I don't think short covering has been a big factor in last 3 days. CommSec buy rec + end of rights trading period & water news / politics if I had to give reasons ....
Towie - you would get short a 6c stock if you could hedge it. Otherwise I agree, no.
