At the moment Nyrstar smelter capacity is more than 1 million kilo tons of zinc ingots and lead ingots, and its mining capacity around 100,000 kilo tons and around 700,000 tons of long-term off take agreement with big mines in Australia and Europe. however Nyrstar has continued to make significant progress in implementing its strategy of owning mines and announcing the acquisition of the Contonga and Pucarrajo polymetallic mines in Peru and the remaining 15% interest in the Coricancha mine (now 100% owned). IBG in its present form is perfect fit for Nyrstar given the price Volatility in zinc IMO
