Pretty obvious that the potential buyers of the NZ assets (or their advisors) leaked the speculative story of a A$250m price tag. This suggests the buyers might in fact be getting desperate to try and walk the price down. So there might be more positive tension in the sales process than the market is giving the share price credit for. To the Vocus board and management, well played on the clarification statement, sell the assets if the price makes sense for Vocus shareholders, not the buyers.
