NZ Earthquake Reconstruction

The November 2016 earthquake which hit the South Island near Kaikoura caused extensive damage to State Highway 1 and the Main North Line, isolating Kaikora at the time, and cutting the rail link between Christchurch and Picton.

Aconex enterprise partner, Fletcher Construction, who build their projects on Aconex, has been hard at it, rebuilding the earth-quake shattered rail and road connections.

Just one of 36 new enterprise agreements signed in ANZ in FY17, the Fletcher agreement demonstrates the dynamic productivity of enterprise agreements in general. In ANZ, they are responsible for 68% of revenue, and growing.

While natural disasters can be tragic, there is nothing more certain than that they lead to reconstruction efforts- which also need construction software support.
