I grew up in Golden Bay and know the community and area well. Also know a fair bit about the local geology which is some of the oldest and most interesting in NZ especially within the Kahurangi National Park. You can expect a lot of resistance for this project from the greenies as well as a large portion of the local community who are very green-orientated. There will be locals who support the project also of course, but the green contingent in the area are both numerous and vocal. Interesting prospect though and it looks likely to host >1m oz plus easily I would say.
