The idea that the travel industry especially in NZ will dry up as lockdown restrictions get reintroduced and COVID keeps causing fatalities above and beyond the million or millions so far is a bit extreme.
There probably will be more lockdowns on Main Street and in metro/ city centers but the idea that people will go back to not travelling and all this doomsday stuff including another recession is IMHO a bit overdone.
IMHO AIZ has fantastic potential to do much better in terms of earnings, dividends, revenue, capital and SP than at present.
In NZ, things cannot get any worse than at present. after Nannygate and everything NZ has been thru, brighter horizons and a more unified future lie ahead than the turmoil of the immediate past.
IMHO AIZ has a strong and exciting future ahead of it.
