I am not sure how serious you guys are about this topic, but if you do have an interest you may be interested in what Stephen Bassett has to say. He goes into alot of detail re government's around the world re these sort of things.
About the only countries to not release this info are pretty much US and us. Most of the rest of the world has (France, UK, Mexico, South America etc). He does a very interesting few hour lecture on the subject starting with the first link below:
Maybe if you are looking for something to watch over the Xmas period then this might be it. It goes into the Clinton's and Rockerfeller efforts in the late 90's, military witnesses, showing the progress of disclosure, exopolitics etc. He did a tour of Australia June this year and was a very interesting evening. I personally have not had any experience, but as the movie contact says, if we are alone in the universe, it would be an awful waste of space.
