Zeta Resources is already considered a related party by the NZX. The related party laws in Australia are broad and ZETA/NZO would also be considered related parties from an ASX/ASIC perspective in relation to the 20% ownership rule. However, this is irrelevant as NZO made a general offer as soon as they exceeded the 20% threshold.
So what they are doing is well within the the takeover rules outlined in the corporations act and is also very smart. Unlike yourself.
