Nothing surprises here. It is what I suggested was going to happen a long time ago.
CUE had become an acute embarrassment to Todd's.
Either that or it was a plaything that they had become bored with.
Either way, they realised that they have enough on their plate dealing with things solely in NZ.
I predict that CUE will disappear as a publicly listed company sometime next year.
Will their be any fun and games?
I doubt it.
If NZO pay more than 10c a share for the rest then they have got rocks in their head and if the others won't fold they will sit it out and just take control of the board until the other parties lose patience.
Of course, if ZER decides to try and clean up the lot that could be interesting but anyone with hopes of a sharp share price rise has to be dreaming with the quality of their assets outside of the current kiwi assets.
