Well, EL, now there is a turn up for the books although it had seemed some months ago a possibility though NZOG was at pains to play down the suggestion.
NZOG has about a 5.8% stake so far with more buying going on at the NZX this morning that is presumably headed into NZOG's collection.
Statement from NZOG seems to indicate a desire for a "strategic" stake. Now does that mean 10% or between 10% and 15%.
The last sentence of the announcement is also interesting.... "In due course NZOG will reassess its position to determine what, if any, further steps might be taken"
I presume that means that they could consider a full takeover.
