The ATMs are clumsy for now, but there are plenty that do dispense cash for bitcoin. I suspect that will update very quickly.
But what is being missed here I think is the same human nature thing that attracts people to the stock market. Volatility and the ever-present opportunity for big windfall profit.
Lets say I bought $1000 worth of bitcoin early yesterday morning. Within 20 hours I could have sold them for $1146. Believe me, that kind of opportunity will cover a multitude of sins.
I'm not defending it, knocking it or anything in between. But I do know that anything easily accessed that offers that kind of opportunity will attract masses of people.
