The demands don't seem outrageous, but will be interesting to watch, especially the unpaid equity requirement increase. ".......... The measure would also increase the state's minimum unpaid share of new miningprojects and require that Congolese investors hold at least 10% of shares in large-scale mines.....". The Randgold and Glencore comments quoted are quite strongly worded, which may not be well received by some in government.
