Hi Bender
Hope you and your family are well.
Thanks for your feedback. very nice.
I'm a great believer it's important what you do, but often times it's how you do it.
Again, very solid results which I commend them highly,
Our BOD and mgmt team just have not grown into our standing as the largest company in NZ and arguably an asx 50 company.
To be repetitive, this is my 5 TH Ann report and although very solid numbers, the market will not tolerate basically no guidance ( IMO)and lines like ". roughly in line". We're now a grown up company and the market will demand more.
I've gone back and re-read last two reports which provided far more clarity as to our plans for the following year and beyond. Roughly in line tells us nothing and we have ( the long termers) always held out that we under promise and over deliver. This report takes away a bit of that creed and as unemotional as I can be, I'm really appalled by the lack of ANY real forward information.
A poster just commented that maybe Jayne is keeping something up her sleeve.
Personally I'm not into game playing or magic shows.
I have to digest all this information more, but with no forward guidence , any new information on partnerships ( it's almost offensive to bring up the 2018 Font ( should I call it an agreement) with no additional information.
I appreciate your kind words about my last post. Given what has been presented so far, I certainly wouldn't be a buyer on weakness this morning.
I've never sold a share but over the next few days if we break 13.78, I think I'd be more of a seller than buyer.
that's just me, not intentionally trying to influence anyone one way or the other, just answering your question.
In any event, my view is our Achilles heel is our communication. Our lack of anything to wrap our arms around in this report is why we're down 15% in Nz as well as overinflated expectations. This good result will get lost in the muck in our lack of clarity.
If for example we would have had the exact results but there would have been new news on Font, or another partnership, or new products, would we be down 15% or up?
all just my humble view mate.
