Butcherboy, one bit of information that did come via Wikileaks was that there were less civilian deaths during the 10 years following the takeover of Iraq than there were in South Africa during the same period. The murder rate in South Africa is very high. Yet I don't see people arguing for a return to apartied, or that it was stupid to overthrow apartied. So why the argument that it was wrong, or dumb, to overthrow Saddam?
Similary, Egyptians deserve the same opportunity to be part of a functioning democracy. Hopefully without the loss of life experienced in Iraq and South Africa.
