Great post Jace 76, I thought I'd add my two bob's worth as a reply to your post.
Thank you for sharing
Ladies and gentlemen,
From the posting and correspondence in general I detected a bit of doubt and dissention among some of us, which is unfortunately leading to some sour barbs being exchanged amongst posters that have kept their vision and patience during the development of this magnificent new mineral field. It is therefore time to take some stock, review what has happened over the last 3 or so years with SGQ and drift back to the positive focus of the company.
So,
Yes, to some, John’s interview last Friday may have come across as though he knows something which was supposed to be released in a couple of days. It was not released today therefore he lied and gave false hope to shareholders.
His balanced meticulous reporting over the years, His demeanor, his experience in the corporate world, his standard of education and background, all reflect a man of integrity and responsibility as a leader of a very well-run team with a goal to generating wealth for his company, piers and shareholders. That has been well demonstrated along the way. I therefore ask, does this observation reflect a deliberate lie or a spruik during the interview last Friday?
The corollary therefore makes me also ask, what would he have to gain by lying or spruiking over a pissy interview? No, my fellow posters, I don’t think so, I believe his focus is for several years down the track, when a major field will have been discovered and outlined and proven in several small and large pods of mineralisation, including base and neo-metals as well as precious metals close to surface and as deeps. These don’t come by every second year; and whether he likes it on not he will have to contend with the Big Australian and similar companies, the Musk empire and the Chinese, European and Korean consortia who will be beating a path to the SGQ fields and its goodies.
Friends, without citing examples as it has all been documented, technically we have far too much good evidence from geophysics and drilling that have thrown a plethora of targets which will take a lot of money and time to understanding the full implications and build a 3-dimensional picture of this field. Therefore, whether an anticipated announcement was due today, tomorrow or in 2 or three weeks from now does not really matter, unless one is an opportunist and wants to snatch a few bucks here and there. There are many companies listed on disallowed that offer opportunities for such action. SGQ is not one of them and does not have to be defiled.
So, in conclusion I say believers, continue your focus on the positive and enjoy the developments.
Cheers and good fortune to all.
