Can't understand why the WA Gov can't step in and take charge in...

Can't understand why the WA Gov can't step in and take charge in building essential infrastructure. Trying to get consortiums of private companies together to fund these projects is a very difficult thing to achieve and for all sorts of reasons. The Qld Gov has for a long time been involved in building infrastructure then selling them off to private enterprise (superfunds etc); That's how the coal industry developed here. The latest Gov effort is point Abbot; pls find some info below. Having said that most of my portfolio is invested in WA and I just someone like Barnett would take charge of priority projects.
