I have no doubt that further port facilities will be required in the long run. The midwest is booming and will continue to boom for years. Real esate prices, wages and other economic indicators are all very positive.

There is even talk of reviving the possibility of a steel mill at Oakajee with a trans continental rail link to Qld to bring in the coal. Remember this dream for oakajee in the not to distant past - ended as a nightmare. Might have a chance now that the big bucks (or should I say big yen) are pooring in.
