To a large degree, the power infrastructure upgrade, the Midwest mines and now Oakajee are all interdependant on each other to make each and all of them successful projects. The WA and Fed Govt's want them all to succeed.

So it is difficult to imagine this could develop into anything other than the deferral mentioned but a WA Gov't statement should be forthcoming soon considering the attention Oakajee has received of late.

It's not good news ST for sure, but I don't think it will develop into a long term effect on any of the MW miners.
