The WA Government has obviously lost the plot in their attempts to keep the budget in surplus. The axing of the 330KV line is the most ludicrous decision ive ever heard.

The port requires power the mines require power there are about 13 generators ready and willing to commit to supplying the miswest with a reliable power source but without the line its is all a farce. The job creation from infrastructure development is at risk - what is going on over there.

For the sake of 300mill the government is jeopardising the royalty stream from 70mill tonnes of IO per annum and the connection payments from the generators. Barnett is a total fool.

To make matters worse today’s fin review seems to pin their hopes on Eneabba gas who to date have no real resource no actual quantifiable quality of resource and are basically a 2 bob explorer with high hopes.
