oakes takeover reaction? , page-11

Well, hopefully RFG have left themselves an OUT. I am not concerned about the acquisition of Oaks (I think they'd be picking it up for a bargain)- but am concerned with how they will fund it.

It would be a huge blunder by both the RFG Directors and Advisors if they haven't thought about how they will fund the deal before makeing the takeover offer. It is such a basic mistake, I can't believe a company with the impeccable track record of RFG could make it.


Personally, I think Minor are going to be the successful acquirer of Oaks anyway (I can't see why ASIC won't grant them the relief they require to acquire the 34% receiver stake), in which case RFG will claw back the 17% loss made over the last 2 days.
