I learnt a lot since then and have seen many things - it's pretty scary if you look close. I was asked to do a survey in a small hospital - long after I left the fire game ------ among a list of things that went pages - I found that many of the beds were wider than the doorways with people in them who would have had to be cut out of their apparatus ----- how's that for planning?

Yes the law is an ass.
Look at all the compulsory installed wheelchair ramps at gyms where not a single paraplegic has used the ramp in years , yet most sea side retirement villages have no Tsunami warning system , Holden commodore cars allowed to have in floor fuel tanks (not allowed when they were imported into the USA as Pontiac G8) due to chance of explosion when rear ended .
