The fact that Abbott walked away from the independents whoring themselves out to the highest bidder was testament to the fact that not every price is worth paying. It must have been a knife in the guts to him to turn down being PM but the demands of the greens and the three amigos were incredible.

And, the fact that Gillard and co gleefully signed up for the whole sh*t sandwich means that they should be the ones who have to eat it to the last crumb. The voters wont forgive her for the carbon tax betrayal and they certainly wont forgive Oakshott and Windsor for siding with Labor.

Abbott should become PM through his own effort, not through some foul deal cooked up with all the slimebags in parliament.
