oppies have a higher risk profile - less liquid, more volatile, higher leverage. Buy 20k @0.5c (4Mill) and sp goes to 10 (say 5X) oppies will be at 6c (roughly) which is > 10x. If it goes the other way you will be at a loss 20% a tick (from 0.5c). Not usually good for a short term trade (but can be sometimes with the right size trade etc)
