"Wait till (insert fantasy here)". There's been alot of waiting for missed predictions in America since Trump first emerged on the political scene. I feel like we are trapped in a contemporary dramatisation of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". Maybe it could be called "The People Who Cried Groundhog".
I would settle for closure on any one of the previous prophecies at this point. A big beautiful wall? Sealed indictments? A Trump win? A red wave? Proof of voter fraud? Tiredness from Winning?
The constant failure is really getting monotonous, makes the political landscape feel like one of them music TV channels that only ever plays hits from the 80s and 90s.
Things were more exciting back then, that's for sure. Modern politics has as much substance and authenticity as Love Island.
