No matter who won they still have to deal with congress so far its democrats up by two Republicans down by two in the senate 51 needed for majority Democrats have increased their position from one vote majority. Democrats up by six in the house Republicans down by one 218 needed for majority in the house Republicans now have that. The republicans seem to have had a loss of support right across the board except in the Governors race where they have gained a govenor and the democrats have lost one but the governors influence on congress is limited
