Totally agree with you Hot Dog. He is by no mean the 'normal' guy, but can still be the 'normal guy'. He is exceptional as a speaker and has what can only be described as 'presence'. His eyes looks confident. His gestures sure. He's obviously come a long way over many cultural/racial barriers in his life already.
He is good for the world (especially considering the alternatives) I beleive, whether he 'saves' the US or not. I am sure many many social and international issues will move forward with his input. He can talk 'directly to' many of the hard issues (eg: race, poverty, etc) rather than just look upon them. Previous Presidents have had to tippy toe on so many issues due to political correctness issues. He should be received with ease by a very wide racial and religious audience internationally.
