I was supposed to highlight 19:45 minutes into the Hannity/Assange interview where Hannity presses JA to corroborate the words of Craig Murray, a former British Ambassador and close associate of the Wikileaks founder, who last month said the DNC/Podesta leaks were the work of a Washington, D.C., insider and had nothing at all to do with Russia... Assange then says he can't comment on sourcing and went on to acknowledge Murray's professional credentials and confirmed he is a close personal friend but is not authorized to make formal statements on behalf of WikiLeaks... JA again reiterates that he doesn't want to be drawn to [this line of enquiry] out of respect for protecting WikiLeak sources. Craig Murray also posted the following on his website;
"As Julian Assange has made crystal clear, the leaks did not come from the Russians. As I have explained countless times, they are not hacks, they are insider leaks – there is a major difference between the two. And it should be said again and again, that if Hillary Clinton had not connived with the DNC to fix the primary schedule to disadvantage Bernie, if she had not received advance notice of live debate questions to use against Bernie, if she had not accepted massive donations to the Clinton foundation and family members in return for foreign policy influence, if she had not failed to distance herself from some very weird and troubling people, then none of this would have happened. The continued ability of the mainstream media to claim the leaks lost Clinton the election because of “Russia”, while still never acknowledging the truths the leaks reveal, is Kafkaesque."
If you haven't listened to the full interview the DNC insider Vs Russian Hacker argument is well and truly put to bed at the 24:10 minute mark of the interview when JA inadvertently makes the following admission;
Hannity - "Would you have published the same things if it was about Donald Trump?"
Assange - "Absolutely... If Donald Trump makes a lot of enemies on the inside during his time in office then he could well face the same thing..."
Hannity - "Btw, that is the best indication that this did not come from the Russian's... [laughs]... I don't think you meant to say that."
