Whoa hold up.. More wars / interventionist regime change? Where are you? He's had to tread a very careful path since Bush f*ed the whole thing up in the middle east. Nobody wanted to send more troops to the middle east after that. In fact his policy has been to get troops OUT of there since hes been in power. The problem with isis et al originate entirely from the f* up that was the Iraq war and its shabby 'reconstruction'. As for food stamps and whatever.. The world economy (not just the US) was on its arse after Bushs regime and with a subsequent 2 house republican chokehold on Congress how f#ck was he supposed to get anything passed... Nope not even kids dying from gunshot wounds in their classrooms could sway those nice republicans to allow greater gun control.. Something about a piece of paper from way back when stopping them apparently?
