Thanks for the info. Im not an economist but read a lot of information. As some of these economists listed are very well known can I ask why you think there is such a disparity between the figures that are displayed by the US government and numerous independant economists?
I find it relatively hard to fathom as they are all based on set figures and statistics that there could be such a difference between them.
Although techniques used to weight or trim the median average could explain some anomolies it certainly couldnt explain the vast difference in results.
Anyway... thanks again for your response... always good to get a counterbalance on what i read.
