Personally I think Obama has been fitted up for this. It is a must fail and a no win for the US

They are buggered if they strike and buggered if they don't.

Obama is not imo a war monger - but, a lot of his advisers are - and thank god Kerry isn't president - he would be bombing Tasmania by now.


This is a diplomatic/foreign policy disaster for the USA - and they have bought it on themselves.

Syria has been in horrendous conflict way way before the US was even heard of.

There have been atrocities there for god knows how long - and the yanks know this - well.

A blind rabbit scampering for a lost burrow could see that they should shut the hell up about this and just make nodding noises in the UN like everyone else about this.

They will lose support and friends whichever way they go from this ----------- and the way the world is going to circumvent payment via their currency atm - they need all the friends they can get.

Yet another nail in the coffin imo.
