OBESE PEOPLE DO NOT WALK ON THEIR HANDS - PART 2

In part 1 I introduced the unlikely link between obesity and Hand OA. Wediscovered the vast numbers that fall into the obese category and how thisaffects the OA numbers. In Part 2 we will uncover some more evidence, deal withsome more numbers and realise just what this Mozz Bonus © is all about.

    EVIDENCE

Bond style we traversed through a few countries looking at a few different studies so far in tonight's adventure...

This one is travelling all over the world...not unlike our sales one day?

All fine for me to write paragraphs on why I think PAR is great....what we wantis some evidence...not just words on a page...or words on a screen..we want hardfacts, scientific evidence...and to be honest, there aren't many of you thatactually want to wade through a small booklet of a research paper to dissectand interpret just what they have found and the scientific action. Thus, a picture or a graph is worth 1000 words? Let's see 9.5:

    https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/2597/2597928-10aa51be2e192028f24133654a61fd86.jpg

Look at the graph above, there is a difference between normal weight and havinghand OA and being on the heavy side and an increase in hand OA. Paradigmers, what I am Mozzifying to you is that the incidence of OA is ENORMOUS for areason. It's not just limited to people that have had injuries. There is muchmore to the biology than we know.

In time, and I do mean over the years, we will learn more about the body andexactly how iPPS operates. We have a profound discovery amongst us and all I amdeclaring is that not many people know about it at all. You wantnumbers....digest this:

There are 25 million Aussies...those that dabble in the share market directlyare 13% of 9 Million.10 Of them just 14.8 K are PARshareholders..let's bump it up to 16 K as it has been a month since theAnnual report... Of the 16 K how many really and truly know what you and Iknow? How many have gone through the many threads, the many astute posters, thehard evidence....I doubt it is more than 500 of us here at HC and perhapsanother 300 out there in the non HC world... That's 800 out of some9 Million investors...it's nothing, as a % ? 0.0088% ! Underthe radar?...yeah.

    https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/2597/2597931-a5916b2425e2094bd0f4f71560e5fa35.jpg

An estimates 9 Million Aussies hold investments outside of their own houseand Super. Single left click to enlarge if the above is a bitsmall.

That as a percentage doesn't register... if we take the general public it's so much less and world wide...don't even bother...no one knows us.....YET.....as I do often say, our day in the sun will come...it might be a ear...it might be two years away...have patience...try and hold on to as much as you can and ride it out. (MY VIEWS only. You must DYOR).

So we see there is a scientific and direct link between obesity and OA apart from the load bearing phenomena. What was the factor increase in terms of amount you are obese? A status of overweight, grade I obesity, and grade II obesity increased the risk of knee OA by a factor of 2-fold, 3.1-fold, and 4.7-fold, respectively. Paradigmers, there is a distinct link.

    ONE MORE?

Ahh let's go to another source, you know I love it when I get info from two different sources, it adds weight to the findings. Ok another study 11 found this relationship: Overlap in the occurrence of hand OA subsets poses conceptual and practical challenges to the pursuit of distinct phenotypes. Erosive OA may nevertheless provide particular insight into the role of metabolic and cardiovascular risk factors in the pathogenesis of OA. After months of research it is not hard to observe common themes, a common link...inflammation is prevalent....OA of the Knee...OA of the Hand....Heart Disease...Diabetes....Respiratory inflammation, the list does go on.

EVIDENCE FROM WITHIN - A MOZZ BONUS

Fellow shareholders, as you know I enjoy researching our company. As I have mentioned I actually thought I'd run out of material mid way through last year...I'm still here and there is a lot to come. This is one stock that occupies a lot of my time but in such a good way. Ok enough Mozz idle talk..let's get down to business..., I know the results were better for the joints of the hand than other joint as this quote came from Paul at last year's AGM:

The drug works and we have had good results...."Particularly in Hand OA"

He also gave us a real live example for all to hear. It was not some random person. Paradigmers the example was of David Baker , Who pre-tell is David Baker? With some 50 years plus of experience, he is one of the industry's most experienced full service stock market practitioners. the lead broker at Baker Young. He is the Co-Fonder and Joint Managing Director of Baker and Young. His philanthropy and his position on various boards and councils reads longer than a Red Carpet night in LA. Professional accreditation and membership include:

    • Master Practitioner Member of the Stockbrokers and Financial Advisors Association (MSAFAA)
    • Financial Planning Association of Australia
    • Member Australian Institute of Company Directors member

One of our big proponents, I very much wanted to meet him at lastyear's AGM but there was just no time! Maybe next year?

Ok so what's the example, how does it pertain to us? Mozz Story time? Ireckon...
Paul Rennie mentioned at last year's AGM...here is the story from what I know.David Baker was a keen golfer...but like so many, he acquired OA, and his OA of the hands was quite acute. So bad that he had to give up his beloved golf, he couldn't hold the club!!!...for 8 years he abstained until he trialed iPPS for himself.....Paradigmers, after a hiatus of 8 long years...he could finally pick up a golf stick and play golf.

Can you just imagine what this means for society? For so many millions...this is a slow motion massive grand Tsunami (my views only)...you ....I....and mayb eif that neighbour next door actually listened to you and bought a few hundred shares....will actually be able to surf the largest wave I have everseen in my investment life (DYOR). Trust me I have had some amazing ones workout for me.... I invested just $650 in X....turned it into $76 K... I invested in Y....an accidental amount mind you, and made a quick 18 X in 1.5years. Oh, I'm no Lord of the shares..I have had spectacular failures too...$10K to zero not just once but a couple of times *hurt*....but I tell you this...PAR looks good to me (again my views, must DYOR, not advice).

    https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/2597/2597935-9b34c4fccb3cd95ee5673bd2bbf1b795.jpg

The all powerful encompassing Tsunami...in a GOOD way....maybe nottomorrow...maybe not next 3 months...but it will happen one day (my views) Onceit gathers steam (Water? Actually, Magic) we will never look back. It will be aliteral smashing [eradicating] of OA and pain as we know it.

    REPERCUSSIONS

Well a few that I can think of ...

1 ) OA is not JUST a simple wear and tear type phenomena, yes that might be the lead along with injuries etc but the pathophysiology is more complex andeven today it's not all fully understood by the scientific community, more research has to be done

    2) We know that iPPS action's on the joints of the hand is one of thestrongest. I do hope with more research they find out way this is, what'sat play, this will take years or further research but we out of so manycompanies may one day have the capacity to take on such research in the background, it will no doubt lead to many discoveries and understanding ofwhat's at play here, this could lead to further improvements in terms of what factors contribute to OA, how it can be reduced and mitigated and how exactlyis best to use our drug and when.

In essence what I am saying to you is that there may be "a metabolic, rather than a mechanical, explanation for the association between obesity andOA" 9. We know OA is wide-spread, you don't have to a scientistto know that. But what I am saying is that there is more to this story and this is one of the reasons why I believe this will be a wide application of ourdrug one day.

Paradigmers, it is one thing for our company to say this is great, it is another thing for us to forecast, BEFORE the greater market catches on, that we have something that can actually help in a LOT of cases. It is such clues along with posters here that we hear from regularly that provides real insights. Donot worry, in my humble opinion, that you missed getting in at IPOlevel...do not worry you missed that boat when it dipped a little in the last storm that we had to $1.08....at sub $3 -still-, it is a darned (I'd use harsher language but I am limited by HC rules and my own legal staff) bargain. This is my opinion and this is me forecasting us in 3 years from now...in 5 years from now..and in 8 years from now for those that really have patience....we WILL look back at these days and wonder if we could've bought a few more shares.

    THE ACTION

It has been found that iPPS is not targeted, again in the very early daysbefore I really started doing commando style research, I thought if you have OAof the knee, if you needed a sc injection, it would be given at the site.Right? Not true as we know, you have the sc injection in fatty tissue and itcirculates. In this way the marvellous action of iPPS occurs at multiple sites,ie the initial patients such as the footballers primarily had pain due toOA in their knees, but they also had lesser pain in other joints like theneck...the lower back and the hands ...this pain also miraculouslydisappeared or were greatly subdued.

While still highly and absolutely relevant, the following data was released byPAR in regards to RRV...Paradigmers, just look at the what the data is saying,it's chalk and cheese...Placebo went backwards initially and was still notregarded as significant after that. Hand grip strength for iPPS was significantat all time points:

    June 4, 2019 PAR Announcement

    JUST MY THOUGHTS

Paradigmes, you know our story is a potentially great one. But like manyof the good plays we have witnessed in both Aussie and the world over, it takestime to mature. I have enjoyed reading a few good posts from theyouth, of younger folk taking an interest in PAR. I have also verymuch enjoyed reading a few posts on these threads of new dads/mums promisingallocations of PAR stock to their newborn. Excellent idea...why not thisChristmas allocate a small parcel to loved ones, the next generation, yourgrand kids or kids..it can just be a small amount, even $500 ...it could oneday be a gift of a lifetime!

    DISCLAIMERS

Paradigmers, you and I both start to get the picture ...we know this is good. But nothing in life is 100% guaranteed, no matter who says it, who practicesit...who preaches it. You need to imagine the worst outcome and howit would impact your life. It should NOT be that you will lose the lot and youwill have nothing left. Insure against this...HOW?

    1) Don't over invest
    2) Work out what is the worst case and how it would affect you over all...yesthe chances of this happening is tiny...but it is NOT impossible
    3) Insure by hedging...don't just invest in one company...don't put it all inone industry...or in one investment vehicle spread your risk, at least to someextent...The best test is the sleep at night test...if PAR falls by x% can youstill get restful sleep at night? Or are you worried? Are you getting that knotin your stomach?

There are some spectacular ways of insuring against big positions specially aswe grow and possibly dual list one day. One day I may end up covering this mostinteresting topic though we'll have to sneak it in and it will be disclaimercity before AND after I give you my thoughts on this subject.
