I was prompted by a comment from ahpigsy on another thread to revisit just how much we are paying these guys while we sit around and wait for them to make some money.
On analysis it appears that I know people that drive trucks on the north-west of WA and cleaners on offshore gas platforms that earn half as much again as our highest paid director.
I sure hope they don't decide to chuck-in their pursuit of scientific commercialisation in favour of better money in the resources sector!
