NEO, I agree with you. I think the main reason of selling as we get closer to the announcement is the panic in their minds. I have few friends who sold out because of sheer panic. So why invest in the first place? These kind of people are better off with parking their money in high interest bearing account and not in the stock market. My theory is, if not 3M there will be other big boys. Also I am damn sure by this stage that the companies they were talking to are also on the side lines until the 3M deal comes out on 1 Feb. So OBJ will be making those announcements in FEB and there goes the SP north to new heights.
