Excellent that there is a constructive discussion on OBL.
Value Investor 123 – no question OBL ( previously IMF Bentham) has disappointed with poor earnings results over many years.
The other side of coin; is what are the characteristics of exceptional growth companies and is OBL exhibiting many of these qualities. ( not easy to stay the course when markets are short term focussed).
Can OBL be disruptive and transformational on a global scale?
Does OBL have exceptional leadership?
Ozner31 & The BBBear have observed OBL’s transformation to a FUM company and the estimates of exceptional future earnings.
Interested in what is the downside case:
- Regulations forcing USA retailinvestors to sell OBL shares
- Concern of dual listing,noting todays OBL ASX announcement
- Australian Govt. regulatory changes that reduce company director obligations and OBL future case opportunities
- CEO moving office fromAustralia to USA ( to focus on business growth)
Maybe OBL is just one of those below the radarcompanies that does not have the buzz of day traders. If that is the case, happy days for astute investors to accumulate while OBL is “on special”.
