angry, It's a pretty important issue. I had read about this on HC but couldn't find any positive confirmation, so i spoke with the asx earlier this week and i was told there is no waiting period as such.

Apparently companies can elect to provide for this as part of their own rule set.

Having said that, the info is only as good as the person i spoke to, who did need to refer to someone else on a couple of other questions i had.
