An unsolicited offer looks likely to me - I guess nothing is likely to happen without Hawkes Point going along with it. My question is that since OBM management have clearly upset Hawkes Point by not achieving DFS performance are Hawkes Point behind this? Do they want control of OBM (having sold down mid 2021 at higher prices and not taken part in the CR) on the cheap and bring in their own management team from Capricorn or Rox where they are major shareholders? It's only speculation but I am natural skeptic about private equity fund manager motives having been bitten before.
