Wasn't the project meant to be "paid back" after 14 months based on a $2100 oz "Base case" price or 7 months at a $2550 oz "spot" price?
Gold price doesn't seem to be problem here, its the fact that the gold at the past published grade just isn't there - something the "DFS" would rely so heavily upon.
My ongoing research on the "stockpile" you mention is starting to indicate the reason this is growing is solely due to them attempting to high grade the deposit and sending the best dirt to the mill as a priority in an attempt to bump up the head grade. It would appear all of the UG dirt is going straight to the mill also.
I am now wondering how poor the grade is in the growing stockpile and what is their plan when the UG stops at the end of this month?
