    My favourite indicator is to see what retail investors are doing at the moment - buying or selling.

    The chart below shows holdings of retail investors and they're declining, which means that retail investors are selling. That means that professional investors are buying as they see more value.

    Here is the accumulation chart for 2 years. It clearly shows when the shift happened. At the end of 2023, retail investors pivoted from buying to selling.

    Here is accumulation by a subgroup of professional investors - 7 investment banks (Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Macquarie, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, UBS). After a recent pause, they've started to buy again.
