The Minproc plant throughput and recovery seems to be nearing be fully sorted out, although this has taken longer than it needed to because of legacy issues with the former CEO. Now grade control is seen as the next challenge, but given the lack of hedging, if the US$ POG rise is maintained owing to geo-political climate in Europe, then while the Fed hikes (weaker A$), a A$2500+/oz A$POG will materially exceed the AISC for a few qtrs, potentially netting them A$12-16m per Q (est). Then they could look to fund reserves growth, via: (i) acquire/agreegate nearby reserves such as SBM's Mulwarrie (80 koz recoverable, as metined above), which you think SBM would be keen to divest now they have Bardoc; or (ii) have the funding to commence a step-out drilling programme. Interesting play as the hedge free leverage off the high ASIC for a rise in the A$ POG gives this steock steep risk/reward.
